July '25 - Aûtentic make a 'Big Splash' at Wales' largest, annual, outdoor arts festival..and our new lived-experience film on gender, sexuality, relationships and safe spaces

This month we've been working on helpful resources for the 'Big Splash' festival which draws thousands to Newport and features free live music, street theatre, dance performances, workshops, craft and activities for all the family.
As part of the festival's ongoing commitment to improving accessibility for autistic and neurodivergent children, young people, adults and their families, Aûtentic produced a 15-minute festival volunteers brief - tailored to the specific environments and accessibility measures in place for this event.

The material was delivered as a

• powerpoint with trainer instructions included in the notes, and a

• narrated MP4 film
This meant that the Big Splash team could deliver the volunteer briefing independently, or they could play the film and answer questions from volunteers after watching.

"it’s excellent and will be a valuable resource for us"

TfGM have produced a helpful resource for candidates accessing their recruitment processes. The resource was co-produced by the excellent neurodivergent staff network
at TfGM, and a language and format review carried out by Aûtentic as well as recommendations for minor amendments. Their resource includes empowering information about reasonable adjustments for neurodivergent people and we're sure this will be a valuable asset in attracting, retaining and promoting neurodivergent talent!
