This month we've been out in the community training the wonderful Citrus Arts , an organisation close to my 'performing' heart. Activity-based socialising is so important for autistic and other neurodivergent children, young people and adults to build strong and supportive social networks. Well-structured and accessible creative activities, that promote 'positive flow states' and create opportunities for socialising in an unpressured way are invaluable. I encourage everyone to read more about autistic flow states here https://kar.kent.ac.uk/63699/

Catherine also visited The Senedd and met with the amasing Joyce Watson and the
DEI team who are doing brilliant work on neurodivergent accessibility - https://senedd.wales/visit/neurodivergent-people/ . They were so pleased to be met by such friendly and helpful security, who answered all of their technical questions about the body scanner!! and made them feel at ease. They were
really excited to hear about Senedd's plans to continue their work both for visitors and employees, and proud to share some of Aûtentic's free resources with them.

New Learning Video Resources
We have two new video resources this month, our film 'Monday morning' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pa-cjuaw85Q on reasonable adjustments for different neurodivergent working styles, focus and attention needs, and our film 'What is AuDHD?' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhuGh9RCGuM , on autism co-occurring with ADD/ADHD, (pronounced 'awdee- hay-ch-dee').
